How generic does your site look?

Paste any URL. A real browser reads the page and checks it for the ten tells of AI-made design. Every flag says what was measured and where, so you can see exactly why.

The ten tells

Deterministic checks over what the browser rendered. No model decides your score; the same page always gets the same number.

  1. Indigo or violet gradient

    ●●●

Default indigo-to-purple gradients are the most common look of generated pages.

  2. Only a default typeface

    ●●

Every text style uses Inter or the system font, with no type of its own.

    default-face-only
  3. Hero, then three equal cards

    ●●

A centred hero followed by a row of three identical feature cards is the default generated layout.

Tested before we called anything generic

We scored 40 sites made by design teams and 30 pages announced as built with AI app builders.

The Slop Score measures the stereotyped generic look, not whether AI was involved. Plenty of AI-built pages are styled with care and score as distinct, and that is the point: it tells you whether yours reads as yours.
