Vault and diff

Save snapshots into projects, compare any two, and share the result.

The Vault is where designlang Cloud keeps your results. A project is one site. A snapshot is one immutable reading of it, small enough to store hundreds, with a screenshot kept for a limited time.

Save a snapshot

  1. Read a site from the watch page, or use the Chrome extension.
  2. Choose Save to project, and pick or create a project.
  3. Open the project to see its timeline. Pin a snapshot to keep it out of pruning.

A snapshot cannot be edited after it is saved. Only its label and its pin can change.

Compare two snapshots

Open a project, pick two snapshots and open the compare view. The diff groups changes by role (colours, type, spacing, radii and shadows, motion, components), gives each a severity and sums them into a 0 to 100 drift score. Colours are compared in OKLab, so a shift you cannot see is not reported.

Share

Copy a share link to a snapshot or a comparison. The link shows that page, not your account.
